The Man of the House and I have been watching Good Neighbors. This is at least the third time we watched it!
For those of you unfamiliar with the series it’s a British sitcom that was made in the 1970s when self-sufficiency was all the rage. The Good family live in a suburban neighborhood and are determined to be totally self-sufficient. They raise all their own food and even make their own electricity. Their friends, the Leadbetters, live next door and lead a more traditional, office-job sort of life style.
The series is very funny and for people like us it’s even a little inspirational. Although you will not find us cruising abound Bellevue on a tricked out rototiller. 🙂
