Last weekend The Man of the House and I visited the Cedar River Trail Park in Renton. It’s an unusual park that always surprises me. The park:
- borders a river
- runs beside a Boeing facility
- is very near the Renton airport
- features a delightfully dank and spooky road underpass
- enables you to walk from Lake Washington to the downtown Renton library
It’s an eclectic mix of things that typifies Renton. It’s about nature. It’s about commerce. It’s about airplanes. It’s all of that plus bunnies and ducks. The parking is ample and I’ve never known the park to be crowded. It’s well worth a visit.
