I’m back from a lovely Fourth of July vacation in Idaho. I had a fantastic time and I’ll be posting photos soon. The wine is very nice and the price can’t be [...] While the Man of the House does make most of our wine, sometimes we run short. We found a lovely wine to help fill the gap between batches of wine. It won’t be long until we’re ready to bottle [...] Last week we bottled our oregano wine. I’ll give you a report once we’ve tasted it. Evidently we had an earthquake early this morning. The Man of the House and I slept through the whole thing. When I heard the news I trotted down to the wine closet to make sure none of our bottles had tipped over. All was well. Today I spent a lot of time working on my taxes. I like being a business owner but the tax part of that is no fun. At day’s end I did get all my 1099s sent out along with my 1096 to my buddies at the IRS. Whew! Luckily it was the Man of House’s [...] Recently The Man of the House harvested our apples. We have two dwarf apple trees and two apple trees in pots. (They’re in pots so that the trees can move with us when we find our dream house.)
