Today I visited the Bellevue Botanical Gardens. As you can see by the look of the site I found it quite inspirational. I took a bunch of photos and will be posting more this weekend. In the meantime here’s one of my favorites from today. Enjoy! Recently Erroll and I went to the Western Washington State Fair in Puyallup. I loved it! If we had the time and money I’d like to get a hotel room and spend a couple of days going to the fair. There’s a lot to see and do. We spent time at hobby hall looking at [...] Last weekend Erroll and I visited the Cedar River Trail Park in Renton. It’s an unusual park that always surprises me. The park: borders a river runs beside a Boeing facility is very near the Renton airport features a delightfully dank and spooky road underpass enables you to walk from Lake Washington to the downtown [...] We recently had family visiting from out of town. We took them to Kerry Park in Seattle. You can’t beat the view from there! Last weekend my brother, Russell, and I went to Gene Coulon Park in Renton. It was a great day – not too hot and not too cold. We walked along the lake and took in the sights. Yesterday Erroll and I went to the Country Village in Bothell. In addition to having great shops and rides for the kid they have . . . . A giant chicken . . . Real chickens . . . A water wheel . . . And ducks. Yesterday we took some time out to enjoy the beach at Seahurst Park in Burien. It was nice to get out and listen to the seagulls, see the water and feel the sun. |
