The Lady Washington and the Hawaiian Chieftain are in Port Townsend. On Thursday we toured the Lady Washington. Today we watched from shore while the ships engaged in a mock battle.

Yesterday we spent some time in Port Townsend. It was a gorgeous day that reminded us of why we left the city. Over the holiday The Man of the House and I visited Fort Flagler State Park. The day was crisp, but sunny and bright. I knew we were in for something special when I spotted two bald eagles in the trees. We had a wonderful view of Port Townsend from the beach. Looking the other way, [...] Our windstorm turned out to be no big deal. The winds weren’t as severe as expected. Although, the bad winds did last longer than initially predicted.
