This is a handy recipe. Not only is Stove Top Stroganoff easy to make, it’s really good!
Stove Top Stroganoff
1 Pound lean hamburger
3 1/2 C. Egg Noodles – uncooked
1 can mushroom soup
1/2 package of dry onion soup mix
1 soup can of water
3/4 soup can of milk
1 teaspoon garlic
Brown hamburger in olive oil. I use a dutch oven so that I only use one pan in cooking.
Once burger is browned drain off any excess oil. Stir in the rest of the ingredients. (Yep, even the uncooked noodles.) Bring to a slow simmer and cook for 25 minutes. Stir every few minutes to prevent things from sticking to the bottom of the pan.
